Remembering Noah
In Loving Memory of Noah Trevino
December 24th, 2021 - August 14th, 2024
Noah came into our lives as a shining light and left an indelible mark on our hearts. Diagnosed with Aicardi-Goutières Syndrome Type 5 at 5 months, his journey was far from easy, but he faced every challenge with a smile that could brighten the darkest of days. His happiness was contagious, and his love for his brother, mom, and dad filled our home with warmth and joy.
Though his time with us was brief, Noah’s spirit was profound. He found comfort in the love and care surrounding him, especially from his incredible team at the Leukodystrophy Center of Excellence at CHOP (we will forever be grateful to Dr. Jaffe), the Palliative and Hospice team at Dell Children's Hospital, his at-home care therapists, and everyone who helped us navigate this journey.
Noah always cherished the care he received, but more than anything, he loved that it happened in the comfort of home, surrounded by family. A heartfelt thank you to our extended family, the fantastic providers, and the foundations whose support and grants made this journey a little easier.
Noah, you will always be with us, and we will always be a family of four. You will always be in our hearts, memories, and the love we carry for you daily. We miss you more than words can express and will forever cherish the joy you brought into our lives.
